Jude's Big Surgery Day

Jude is playing with the fishies while he awaits checking in for his cyst-removal surgery.
                                                                            SOOO Happy.

Playing "pee-boo" with his papa.
                                                              Heeeeerrreeeeee we go!
Getting his vitals taken. He loved the little pulse monitor on his toe. He laughed when they took his blood pressure on his leg.

Then they checked his temp in his ears, and he got pissed.
....then he found a ball ("DAR") which brought him back to his normal happy, goofy self again. He took this ball with him to surgery. Handing him over was the hardest thing ever. Of course, as he turned the corner down the hall, I shed some mama tears.

HE MADE IT! Tired and stoned, but so so brave! The doctor removed a quarter-sized dermoid cyst from his right eyebrow. There will be bruising and swelling, but we are so fortunate we were not in the position of some of the other patients in the hospital with us.
Getting some comfort from Papa.

This ball was a life-saver!
Watching Shrek with Papa.

Too tired...
Yay! Elmo Balloon! Except, he's mad because his arm casts wont let him grab the balloon. Torture!

Back home, and back to his normal self again!

That's the happy boy we recognize!

Oh, we missed this smile today! Good job you brave little baboon! Get well soon! WE LOVE YOU!

Holy smokes he was a brave little dude! I hope that the cyst was just a one time thing...it won't come back will it?

Sorry that we found out about his surgery so late, we would've brought him some icecream or something, but glad to know that he's doing better :)
