A Mum Visit

My mum came to visit this month. We shopped (now I have no room in our second room to walk because of all the baby clothes), we talked, we ate....oh boy...we ate the town. We watched dumb movies, ate some more, drank a LOT of pop and ate a whole bag of candy corn. Then she left and life slapped me in the face. Its so boring without another soul around. So...I'm pretty excited to be getting a permanent room mate (baby robinson) in a few months...

We had a good weekend trip for Labor day. If you think campers are better than roughin it in a tent, you are wrong. I woke up in the wee hours to a mouse taking his last peep as he lay in a trap, while another ran around on the floor beneath me.

I'd rather sleep with the bears.

But it was lovely anyway.

Our Little Demon Baby Boy

Well, it was our 1st ultrasound yesterday and guess what we found...A PENIS. Yeah you bet, really knocked the socks off of both of us. And not only that, but it looks like we are having a boogie man baby. Soo...guess things are going preeetty wonderful.

Update

Shooooot. I have slacked haven't I? Guess I should update...

• A baby is coming in February.


• Devin is studying for a new career as an Actuary.


• We were looking for homes in SLC, but backed out.


• We desperately want to move to the Portland area to be closer to the coast.


• We are finishing up our last semester at school. Devin will graduate. I will postpone to do the mum thing.


• We are primary teachers at church.


• Our apartment is great minus the mice-sized hobo spiders that come out each night.

MEET OUR FAMILY

Devin and I had a random and impulsive craving for something to call our "own" on Valentine's Day. So...of course, what better than adopting CRABS, FROGGIES, and FISHIES!

Well, Wal-Mart (GRRR...) wouldn't let us buy our little family. We had to set up our tank first. So, we said FINE, you stink-pots. (We were mad, they sold us a broken fish tank, and we had to make a trip all the way back!)

We got our adorable family as you see in their first family photos below on President's Day.

We have yet to adopt a frog & crab.
